Landscaping Contract Template

Parties

Scope of work

Contractor agrees to perform the landscape services described in the attached Proposal #[___], dated [___], which is incorporated into this Agreement.

Payment terms

• Total contract price: $[___]
• Deposit of 50% due upon signing
• Balance due upon substantial completion
• Late payments accrue 1.5% interest per month

Change orders

Any change in scope must be agreed to in writing (a signed change order) before work proceeds. Verbal change requests are not binding.

Cancellation

Client may cancel within 3 business days of signing for a full deposit refund. After that, deposit covers materials ordered and work scheduled.

Warranty

Workmanship warranted for 1 year. Plant material warranted for 90 days if Client follows watering instructions provided at completion.
